Appointments can be held via telephone/video, or in-person with COVID restrictions in place (must wear mask until in my office, use hand sanitizer upon arrival, if experiencing any symptoms or having had any exposure we will switch to tele/video counselling or reschedule).
Appointments can be made for Individuals (adults and adolescents age 16+), Couples, or Families.
Prior to attending your 1st Appointment, we will schedule a free telephone consultation in which you will have the opportunity to:
- ask any questions you might have
- determine if it's a "good fit"
- set up billing
- book your 1st appointment

After booking your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions - make sure to check your junk folder if you do not see it right away, and add to your safe contacts list to receive appointment reminders and other important updates.
DIRECT BILLING is available for:
Alberta BlueCross, ASEBP/ARTA, Canada Life (previously Great West Life), Chamber of Commerce, CINUP, Desjardins, First Canadian, Green Shield (GSC), GroupSource, Industrial Alliance, Manion, Medavie Blue Cross, Unify Consulting Group (Physicians of Alberta), Veterans Affairs, Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB), and certain other EAP/EFAP or insurance companies in the case of an MVA claim or Short/Long Term Disability.
For clients who are accessing counselling services through a third party payor, I will invoice the company directly upon their approval, and working within their treatment conditions.
Clients are responsible for paying any remaining amount not covered by their insurance.
Credit card information is collected upon booking your 1st appointment, as a way of securing your commitment to attending a scheduled session, as well as for billing No Shows and Late Cancellation Fees.
Payments are due in full at the end of each session by credit card, e-transfer, or cash. Receipts will be provided and can be submitted to your insurance company or Health Spending Account for reimbursement. Receipts for out-of-pocket payments can be submitted for income tax purposes as a medical expense.
Missed appointments prevent other people from the opportunity to attend therapy in a timely manner when they may be in distress or in need of support. 24 hours notice is requested for rescheduling and cancelling appointments.

As such, and in consideration of the Psychologists Association of Alberta's Recommended Fee Schedule:

- Tele/Video Counselling - $150/hr
- In-Person Counselling - $180/hr
- Extra time spent in session can be requested and is billed at the rate of $30 per 15 minutes
Necessary or client-requested time spent out of session; services include:
- Reading and responding to lengthy letters/emails; consultations and communications with outside contacts - $25 per 10 minutes
- Conducting and scoring assessments; Reporting and letter writing - $30 per 10 minutes
Fees for missed appointments:
- Late Cancellation - $50
- No Show - full session fee
